Breakfast and Bar Menu plus cleanliness
TV's far too small, particularly as I had to stay in most evenings an compared to other hotels
the food was excellent, as always, the staff are friendly and very helpful and we will definately stay again
the rooms could maybe updated, but it was still clean and comfortable
They kndly transferred our reservation to the next night when I discovered that I had booked the wrong date at no extra charge.Nice fresh fruit at breakfast.
No free wifi internet access. Only pastic cups in the bedroom, no glasses.
All the dust, very old fashioned.
Nice welcome and friendly assistance. Very convenient for eastern side of Birmingham.
Although room furniture was not old, the woodwork was dark and gave impression of dated
Large room, good bathroom.
Missed the "Restaurant Closed On Mondays" sign, so had to have a bar snack instead.
The courtesy of the staff at all levels and their willingness to help was very much appreciated - Thank You!
Good value for money and convenient if staying in Meriden. I think its the best choice of the available accommodation at a reasonable price.
Helpful staff, the bedding smelt fresh not just changed.
Room cold on arrival, soon warmed up.
I could grow tomatoes in my bedroom
the heat in the hotel was intolerable and seemed to accepted as one of those things by the staff
The location was perfect for the NEC
The temperature of the hotel, the room was very hot even when we turned the radiator off in the bedroom, we could not regulate the bathroom radiator. It was a bit uncomfortable
Meal was very good
Thin walled rooms, noisy when there are a lot of people staying
As it was a family party arranged the location for many of us attending and having traveled a distance it was very good , plenty of parking eay to find and the resturant just ideal
Friendly attention, and enjoyable food.
Inadequate toiletries in bathroom; difficulty in detaching water supply to shower in order to fill bath; poor hanging space and cupboard facility; not very comfortable beds or pillows; noise from room above; inadequate ventilation.
It is convenient, friendly, and fairly-priced. I asked in advance for black-pudding and it was provided. Freshly-cooked breakfast on Monday was excellent.
On Tuesday: The black-pudding was cooked on one side and frozen on the other (health risk); I had to ask for toast (waiter/waitress should always ask up front); The plates put out for the buffet breakfast were stone-cold.
