The room was spacious with a comfy bed, a big flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with fresh towels, body soap, and a hairdryer. The restaurant served delicious meals like fish and chips, and the garden had lovely views over the fields. The staff were super helpful. Great for NEC events too!

missingWrote a review on Oct 17friendly staffgood parking facilitieslong waitcold mealspoor service quality
The experience was marred by a long wait for food , especially since we were the only party in the restaurant. The cold meals served were unacceptable, and the burger was downright inedible, highlighting poor kitchen standards. While the staff were friendly, their service was inconsistent at best, and it felt like they lacked proper training.

I had a lovely stay, enjoying both the big, warm bath and the cozy bed in my double room. The garden area was perfect for relaxing in the sun, and I loved unwinding with some live entertainment in the evenings. Just a small thing, the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty at times, but overall, I really enjoyed my time here! 😊

Helpful staff and beautiful garden setting
I recently enjoyed a two-night stay in a family room, where the staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing us to park early and providing handy transportation information to nearby attractions. The garden area was lovely, providing a peaceful backdrop for our stay, and the meals, particularly the breakfast, offered good value and quality. I did find the mattress a bit uncomfortable and noticed some cleanliness issues in the shower.

Free parking right outside is a plus, and the bus stops nearby make it easy to reach the NEC and Birmingham Airport. The rooms are spacious, and the shower pressure is quite good, which is a definite perk after a long day.
The decor in various areas is showing its age, and while the rooms are large, they're a bit dated, lacking a fridge which would have been useful. On top of that, both noise from neighboring rooms and thin walls can disrupt your peace—if you’re in a hotel for some rest, you might find that a bit challenging. I encountered a mold patch in the bathroom, which really should be addressed to keep hygiene standards up. I’d steer clear of breakfast. it seemed like a low point for most guests. it feels a bit disjointed between the charming elements and the maintenance issues.
